Introduction

Alliance Diamond is a new company entering the Italian market with a bold mission: helping manufacturers create custom diamond tools.

Goal

Build a strong brand presence ahead of Marmomac 2024, one that sparks interest and generates leads.

Challenges

With no recognition and a name that sounds more jewelry than industrial, the brand needed clarity, credibility, and trust. Fast.

Brand Design

Forging Credibility Through Strategic Brand Identity

Brand strategy workshop

We kicked off with a brand strategy workshop involving all key stakeholders. Together, we mapped out a 20-year vision, clarified the brand’s target audiences, and defined a clear positioning. We crafted a value proposition focused on helping clients adopt free sintering without the usual risks, backed by ongoing technical support. The brand’s voice was shaped to feel precise, honest and helpful, with a personality that is serious, traditional and quietly authoritative.

Visual Identity development

To define the brand’s visual identity, we explored three logo directions, all built around the synergy between the letters A and D. Each concept was inspired by industrial diamond tools, referencing the circular blades or diamond-coated beads used in the field. The result was a set of bold, geometric marks that feel essential, recognisable and distinct.

We paired each logo with a visual concept to evaluate its fit within a cohesive brand system. From a sharp monochrome system to a clean black and white with an accent colour, to a more vibrant version with a dominant hue.

Each proposal aimed to balance authority and modernity while keeping a minimal approach.

The final direction merged 2 of the initial concepts into a bold, minimal identity. The result is a mostly monochrome system with sharp red accents and a futuristic tech-inspired font paired with a contemporary grotesque.
Custom Visuals

To give the brand something truly unique, we developed a series of surreal digital visuals using marble textures. These visuals marry timeless elegance with the rugged sophistication of the stone and granite industry. Everyday industrial elements were reimagined with a marble finish and red metallic details, creating a distinctive blend of creativity and familiarity. A brand book completed the system, covering values, voice and visual rules.

Printed Materials

To extend the visual identity into the physical space, we designed a full set of print materials for the brand’s launch. This included business cards, two brochures (one in Italian and one in English), and three large banners for the first trade show appearance.

Copywriting

Turning Thin Air into Persuasive Words. Fast

The challenge

There were no existing materials to work from, and very little time. The task was to translate the founders’ instinctive grasp of the market into a clear, persuasive content for web and print.

The process

We kicked off with a two-hour workshop filled with questions and answers. From that session, we defined the offer, clarified the target audience, and drafted a service outline split into two core propositions, each tailored to a specific type of client.

The structure was reviewed and approved by the stakeholders. Once the Italian copy was completed, it was translated using AI and then refined by a professional native English editor to ensure fluency, accuracy and alignment with the intended meaning.

Outcome

By dedicating just a few hours of their time, the company received a complete and structured copy ready to be used across both the website and printed materials.

Each service page followed a clear and effective flow based on the PAS framework: first identifying the client’s problem, then amplifying the urgency or cost of inaction, and finally introducing the service as the ideal solution. This approach helped capture attention quickly, made the copy feel relevant, and naturally led the reader toward action. The copy focused on clarity, benefits and conversion, using consistent structure to support different audiences without losing focus.

Website Design

Where Premium Aesthetics Meet Intuitive Usability

The goal

The main goal was to drive contact, either by email or phone. The website needed to clearly present the offer, making it easy to understand what the company does and who it is for. It also had to convey authority and technical expertise, in line with the brand’s identity.

The challenge was to create a website that was both easy to understand and persuasive, using a visual language that felt minimal and refined.

Main menu

To elevate the perceived quality and visual impact of the website, we chose a full-screen menu layout even on desktop. While this type of navigation can reduce usability, we introduced a few key adjustments to keep the experience smooth. Clickable areas are large and easy to target, and the background reacts to hover with contextual animations that guide the user. Additionally, to close the menu, users can simply press Esc or click the close icon.

Contacts

Contact options are included in both the expanded menu and the footer. In the footer, the phone and email are especially prominent and positioned so that users are very likely to hover over them while moving across the lower part of the page, reducing friction and encouraging contact.

Other highlights
  • The website is available in English and Italian, with plans to add more languages over time.
  • Fast page loading was prioritised, with optimised image assets across the site.
  • Basic SEO was implemented to support visibility in search engines.
  • We also set up professional business email addresses, each with a branded signature.
