Glades.ai

From Silent to Signal: A Brand Revamp for the Builders of Tomorrow

Introduction

Glades.ai is a developer-first platform to build, own, and monetize advanced AI models—rooted in its open-source core, Glades-ML (2020). It democratizes creation by giving builders full control over code, data, and economics, using web3 primitives to enable ownership and value capture. Looking ahead, a play-to-train path extends the roadmap toward a gamer audience alongside developer workflows.

Goal

When we engaged, the public-facing brand wasn’t keeping pace: generic visuals, a rushed social presence, and no clear signal of the developer-first AI × web3 proposition or model-ownership narrative. This created three risks—low differentiation in a crowded AI market, credibility drag with investors, and slow, inconsistent asset production. The answer was a cohesive, systemized visual language that could scale across social channels, the website, and the forthcoming AI marketplace.

Goal

Turn Glades.ai’s public-facing brand into a credibility signal and growth asset—distinctive, investor-grade, and instantly legible as developer-first AI × web3. Establish a scalable visual system (type, color, iconography) that accelerates production across deck, socials, and site while laying the foundation for the upcoming AI marketplace and gamer-facing play-to-train.

Challenges
  • Ten days before the official start, an investor-grade pitch deck was requested with a four-day deadline, forcing us to compress visual exploration and lock direction rapidly to avoid rework.
  • The logo used a leaf-and-circuit motif—highly detailed and common in the space. Shape edits weren’t allowed, so the challenge was to raise visual quality across the system while preserving the symbol
  • Creating a light mode that still looked futuristic was difficult—sci-fi interfaces are usually dark, and on light backgrounds the risk was drifting into a sterile, health-tech feel.
Timeline
  • Mar 17 — Urgent request for an investor pitch deck (deadline: Mar 21).
  • Mar 18 — Received draft copy for slides.
  • Mar 19 — Delivered 3 visual style concepts; completed 2 rapid review rounds; final visual direction locked by EOD.
  • Mar 21 — Pitch deck (18 slides) delivered.
  • Mar 27 — Official project kickoff.
  • Apr 3 — Social graphics delivered.
  • Apr 21 — Website revamp ready for handoff.
Visual Style & Pitch Deck

From Zero to Investor-Ready in 4 days

introduction

With an investor deck needed pre-kickoff, we ran a fast concept sprint to lock direction before building slides. The brief called for a high-tech, futuristic aesthetic with a cyberpunk-leaning palette, code-inspired display accents (kept readable), and AI/web3 cues—grids, data overlays, and technical iconography.

In under 48 hours we converged on a system: subtle metallic texture for depth, wireframe scaffolding, soft glow highlights, and the leaf symbol used as a quiet ambient motif. With direction set, we applied it to an 18-slide investor deck.

The symbol’s shape stayed intact; we rotated it 25°, refreshed the palette, and built a custom wordmark to sharpen a gamer-friendly attitude.

Three explorations, two lightning-fast review loops; visual direction locked in less than 48 hours.

Approved system in action: cyber-tinted palette, metal micro-texture, and the leaf glyph as a faint overlay for cohesion.

Outline iconography with subtle neon, circuit-style connectors, and code-influenced headlines tuned for contrast on dark.

A simple chart becomes a polished visual centerpiece through metallic panels and subtle light effects.

Social Media Contents

Turning Scattered Social Media Content into a Reusable Visual System

introduction

We shipped a lightweight social kit for consistent, fast publishing: YouTube and X covers, a thumbnail system that reads at small sizes, and modular Canva post templates the team can reuse.

Platform-generated charts were standardized with a semantic color token set (chart-group-0…10) mapped to a base palette; the same sequence rules apply across cluster graphs, histograms, and price lines. We also delivered the CSS file with all color variables.

Canva templates with example posts and the full asset library uploaded for quick, on-brand composition.

YouTube cover plus a matching video thumbnail template for consistent channel presence.

X/Twitter profile cover aligned with the new visual identity.

Old chart style—low contrast and inconsistent with the brand.

New cluster graph with up to 10 groups, colored via tokens (group-0 … group-9) drawn sequentially from the base palette.

Delivered CSS file with all color variables so the dev team can implement directly.

Updated histograms and price action with clearer hierarchy on dark backgrounds

Color-vision simulations confirm charts remain legible across major types of color blindness.

Website Revamp

From Generic Template to Futuristic Identity

introduction

The site’s structure was already solid, so the work focused on a visual revamp. Dark mode came naturally, building on the styles defined for the deck and social assets.

Light mode was the real challenge: sci-fi interfaces are typically dark, and on light backgrounds the risk was slipping into a clinical “health-tech” look—pale blue-greens, sterile whites, and metallic tones that felt more hospital than futuristic. To avoid this, we worked with metal textures, bold contrasts, and a carefully tuned palette that kept the design polished and forward-looking without losing warmth.

The outcome is a website that’s visually striking and does justice to the ambition of the brand. Delivered as a clickable 1280px prototype, it also included a starter design system—with key components and variables ready to serve as the foundation for the actual product.

Screen recording of the homepage showing the switch between light and dark mode. The overlapping banners use a subtle glassy effect against the fixed background—wireframe grid and leaf symbol—for a layered, futuristic feel.

A simple visual revamp can completely shift how a brand is perceived—turning a generic site into a distinctive identity.

The entire site is responsive; the API docs page is a good example of how layouts adapt seamlessly to smaller screens.

UI components here are designed as modular pieces—tables, cards, and input fields that can be reused directly in the upcoming AI marketplace.

Light and dark modes adapt the brand to different user preferences while staying consistent.

Team photos were retouched with brand elements, small details that add polish and create a premium feel.

What could have been a plain text page becomes a branded resource. Proof that with a considered layout and consistent brand elements, even simple content can project a strong identity.

AI-generated imagery reinforces the gamer focus of the Play to Train page, with colors tuned to match the brand’s visual language.

Shadows replace glows in light mode to add depth and polish.

Light mode keeps the design futuristic without drifting into a sterile, clinical look.

Semantic color variables mapped to a shared base palette make theme switching straightforward.

A well-structured Figma file—with pages, components, and style guide neatly organized—makes handoff smoother and future updates far easier to scale.

Breakpoints and section containers were defined for each screen size, giving developers a clear framework for responsive layouts.

Figma component playground: buttons with variable sizes, states, and icons, plus cards with toggleable decorations—showing how the design system was built with a product-oriented approach, not just a static website.

Community feedback on X confirmed the impact of the revamp: a cleaner, more polished identity that instantly resonated and built momentum around the launch.

“High quality work and very professional. I also like his iterative process.”
